Parking Curbs, Parking Lot Items

Are Parking Curbs required in parking garages?

A concrete parking curb for each parking stall is becoming a requirement in many cities and boroughs and will usually pay for itself in reduced damage/ liability claims in less than 10 years.

Our most popular model for parking garages is the #CCS Flat bottom curb with no drains, these are usually glued to the concrete floor with a 2 part epoxy.

The heavy weight of the CURBO concrete car stop will keep the parking curb in place for years to come

Parking Curbs from CURBO: Concrete Solutions usually stay in place much better than cheap, lightweight plastic and rubber parking blocks.

  1. I saw the ones you did for 99 Hudson. They look awesome!

Who all does bumper blocks in parking lots? What is your most efficient/ safest way of manually unloading them?
Edit: this is primarily for new asphault so fork lifts wont work….

If you have a trailer just use a dolly to unload them off

Jason Crandall I did it manually for years & now I’m awaiting an injection or back surgery. Anyone who picks & sets them for you is also an expense.

I am supposing that you mean wheel stops and a fork lift is the easiest way but more commonly used is a flatbed trailer with the dolly

Mike Keathley I can鈥檛 remember the name of these dang things… I think Car Stop Claws or something like that … guy was in Texas who made them I think. I鈥檒l try to find it. Bought them in 2013. Back savers for sure and helps prevent chipping caused by hand trucks etc.

    Curbo Curbs
Most of our customers prefer stacks of 15 pieces spaced throughout the parking lot. You can use a rubber dolly from there. Check it out here >>https://curboparkingcurbs.com/ Ian Solodky has a cool setup where they drive alongside with their trailer and just lift them down on the ground. That method is perfect for smaller projects.
